This month: beyond the chatbot
Most people I talk to have tried ChatGPT. They ask it a question, get an answer, and go back to doing the work themselves. That is useful. It is also the smallest part of what these tools can do now.
This month I will show Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Work, and Grok Bot on a live screen, doing actual tasks for a service business. Not writing a poem. Sorting an inbox, drafting the follow-up, pulling together the thing you would otherwise spend Tuesday afternoon on. I will also show you where each one falls short, because they all do somewhere.
How the evening runs
- 5:30. Doors open. Introductions, no name-tag games.
- 6:00. The demo, then questions. Ask anything. There are no dumb questions in a room where nobody opens a terminal.
- After Q&A. Structured networking. You tell a few people the one task that eats your week, and they tell you theirs. You will probably find someone who already solved yours.
- 7:00. Wrap up. Stay and talk if you want.
Who this is for
East Texas owners and operators running a service business. You do not need to know anything technical. If you are a developer, you are welcome, but this is not a developer talk and I will not be showing code.
It is also not a sales pitch. I will not be selling software, and you will not leave on a mailing list you did not ask for.
